Terms of Service

1. About these terms

These terms describe use of HO-SO at ho-so.net, including the web application, API, CLI access, and connected-agent interfaces. “We” means the HO-SO operator; “you” means the person using the service or the organization they are authorized to represent.

The operator’s legal name, address, representative where applicable, governing law, and effective date must be confirmed before publication. This draft is not an agreement already in force. The published terms must be presented before account creation or purchase, with acceptance obtained where required.

The privacy policy explains how information is handled. Purchases through Lemon Squeezy are also subject to its Buyer Terms; those terms govern its merchant services, while these terms govern use of HO-SO. Mandatory legal rights take precedence over conflicting terms.

2. Accounts and Workspaces

You must have the legal capacity and authority to use the service and, when acting for an organization, to act on its behalf. Use accurate account information, protect your Google account and access credentials, and do not share personal tokens or authorize clients you do not trust.

Google is the current sign-in provider. Invitations match a verified email address and then bind to the signed-in account. Workspace owners manage invitations, public sharing, and billing. Members can access shared documents and review history. Invite only people authorized to receive that content.

You are responsible for the instructions you give connected agents and the actions you authorize. Agents can read or change content within their granted scopes and your Workspace permissions. Review the agent provider’s terms before sending it confidential information.

3. The service

HO-SO lets you upload HTML, share a review URL, comment, and publish revisions. Self-contained JavaScript can run inside an isolated document sandbox. External APIs, remote script dependencies, form submissions, and access to HO-SO account data are restricted. Package dependencies with your HTML; some browser features will not work. Sanitization and these restrictions can change a document’s appearance or functionality. Exported HTML contains its source scripts; HO-SO’s hosted sandbox does not follow a file opened elsewhere.

Prior revisions and comment history are preserved. Keep your original files and any separate backups you need. Supported formats, file limits, and plan limits apply. Enterprise features or service levels are available only if separately agreed; an inquiry does not purchase or guarantee them.

Standard support is provided by email at support@ho-so.net for questions about using HO-SO and problems with the service. Enterprise support is handled by support personnel under a separate agreement defining the support arrangements. Standard support has no guaranteed response or resolution time; any Enterprise commitment must be expressly agreed.

4. Your content and sharing

You and the relevant rights holders retain ownership of your documents, comments, and attachments. You give us a non-exclusive permission to host, copy, sanitize, format, display, and transmit that content only as needed to provide, secure, and support HO-SO and carry out your sharing instructions. This does not transfer ownership or grant a separate right to sell your content or use it for advertising or model training.

You must have the rights and permissions needed to upload content, disclose personal information, invite members, and connect external clients. Review AI-generated material for accuracy and rights before sharing it.

New documents start visible only to their creator, who can share them with Workspace members. Existing Workspace-visible documents keep their access. Setting a document back to creator-only also disables any active public link. If an owner enables public sharing, anyone with the public link can view and copy the shared document. Disabling sharing stops future access through the link but cannot remove copies already made. Re-enabling sharing creates a new public link; the revoked link remains invalid. Comments and their attachments remain private unless you include that information in the shared HTML itself.

Our permission to process content lasts for the purposes and retention described in the privacy policy, including any lawful retention needed after use ends. It does not override a valid erasure request or other mandatory rights. HO-SO’s software and branding remain with their respective rights holders.

5. Acceptable use

Safety limits apply without paid overage: Free includes 100 MiB of retained content and 100 Workspace changes per UTC day; Team includes 2 GiB and 2,000 changes; Business and the initial Enterprise default include 10 GiB and 10,000 changes. Revisions, restored copies, comments and edits, attachments, and icons count toward retained content. Hiding or deleting a comment does not erase retained records or release capacity. At a limit, new changes may be paused while existing content remains available. Service-wide safeguards may temporarily restrict access during excessive traffic or an incident.

Do not use HO-SO to violate law or others’ rights; expose information without authority; distribute malware, phishing, or deceptive material; harass or threaten people; or facilitate exploitation or abuse. Do not bypass access controls, probe other users’ data, evade limits, interfere with service availability, or misuse payment or refund processes.

Do not upload passwords, secret keys, or regulated sensitive data unless you have established that the service and your agreement support the applicable requirements. Sanitization is not a substitute for checking your content. Report suspected abuse or a security problem to support@ho-so.net.

6. Plans and billing

Prices are per Workspace in US dollars. Monthly and annual billing are alternatives; an annual price is charged for a full year, not in monthly installments.

No per-seat charge applies within a plan’s member limit. There is no free trial. Annual pricing provides twelve months for the price of ten monthly payments; it is not a trial or a refund promise.

Lemon Squeezy is the merchant of record and handles payment, tax calculation, receipts, and subscription transactions. Applicable taxes and the final total are displayed at checkout. Paid subscriptions automatically renew for the selected monthly or annual period until cancelled. Review the total, renewal date, and terms before completing checkout.

Paid access is applied after payment and subscription status are verified with Lemon Squeezy, so processing may not be immediate. If access is missing, use your purchasing Workspace owner account and the receipt’s transaction-support route. Do not buy a second subscription merely to retry activation. Failed payment or expiry may return the Workspace to Free limits.

Paid checkout remains in test setup for this draft. A test transaction is not a live purchase. Billing changes, proration, and any Enterprise terms must be shown and agreed before charging you; no unadvertised plan-change or refund benefit is promised here.

7. Cancellation and refunds

Manage cancellation through the Lemon Squeezy customer portal or the subscription-management link associated with your receipt. If you need Lemon Squeezy support to cancel, its Buyer Terms request contact at least 48 hours before the current period ends. Check the portal or confirmation for the effective cancellation date.

Cancellation stops subsequent renewal once processed. Paid access continues through the paid subscription end date recorded by Lemon Squeezy, then the Workspace returns to Free limits. A downgrade does not delete documents or existing members; new invitations remain subject to the lower limit.

Cancellation does not itself refund the current period. HO-SO has not adopted a voluntary money-back guarantee or a prorated refund promise. Lemon Squeezy handles transaction refund requests under its Buyer Terms and applicable law. Nothing here limits mandatory refund, withdrawal, or other consumer rights, including remedies for non-delivery or defective service where applicable.

For product or account help, email support@ho-so.net. Use the order-support route in your Lemon Squeezy receipt for transaction questions and provide only the order identifier and purchasing email needed to find the purchase. A refund and subscription cancellation are separate actions; verify both the payment outcome and future renewal status. The final refund procedure must be verified before paid launch.

Signing out, disconnecting an agent, or requesting account deletion does not cancel a subscription. Cancel renewal separately before closing paid access.

8. Suspension, termination, and data

You may stop using HO-SO at any time, subject to the separate cancellation process for subscriptions. Permanent account or Workspace deletion requires a verified request procedure; a self-service account-deletion feature is not available in the current release.

We may restrict content or access as reasonably necessary to address a material breach of these terms, non-payment, a security threat, or a legal requirement. Where practical and lawful, we will explain the reason and provide an opportunity to resolve it. Urgent protective action may happen first. Any applicable refund or other statutory remedy remains available.

If we discontinue the service, we will provide reasonable advance notice where possible and explain cancellation, export, and any applicable refund arrangements. We will preserve necessary support and required records. No fixed notice period or recovery guarantee is promised in this draft.

Export the HTML you need while you have access. Editing, comment deletion, or link revocation does not permanently erase stored history. Retention, third-party copies, and privacy requests are explained in the privacy policy.

9. Availability and responsibility

HO-SO is provided with the features and limits described for your plan. We do not promise uninterrupted access, identical rendering in every browser, error-free AI output, or a contractual service-level agreement unless separately agreed. Maintenance, provider outages, and security incidents can affect availability.

You remain responsible for the content and sharing decisions you control. We remain responsible to the extent required by applicable law for the service we provide. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud, intentional misconduct, gross negligence, or any other liability or consumer protection that cannot lawfully be excluded. This draft does not impose a monetary liability cap or a mandatory arbitration requirement.

10. Changes, disputes, and contact

Material changes to terms, prices, or service scope will be explained before they apply. Price changes apply to a future billing period after the required notice and any required consent; they do not retroactively change a paid period. You may cancel renewal if you do not accept a future offer. We will obtain agreement to revised terms when required by law.

A provision that cannot be enforced does not remove the remaining lawful provisions. No choice of governing law or exclusive court has been selected for this draft; the final version must identify the operator’s jurisdiction while preserving mandatory local consumer rights.
